Gamup respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the federal Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf. We respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement that meet the requirements of the DMCA and applicable law. If you believe any content has been used in a way that infringes copyright, please provide the following details:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Details of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, including its location (e.g., a URL);
  • Your contact information, including address, phone number, and email;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • A declaration that the information provided is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you believe the content removed in response to a DMCA notice was removed in error or that you have the right to post it, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (with your full legal name);
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its location prior to removal;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email, along with a statement that you accept service of process from the original complainant.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the complainant and inform them that the removed content may be restored. Unless the complainant files a legal action seeking a court order to prevent the content from being restored, the content may be reinstated at our discretion within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

Please note that submitting a false or bad faith DMCA notice or counter-notice can have serious legal consequences in your country. We encourage you to consult legal counsel if you are unsure about your rights.

We reserve the right to remove content alleged to infringe copyrights without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
